Because it is pretty flat here along the edge of the ocean, an enterprising man has set up a tour of the area on Segways of all things. Here is a group looking for birds at the sanctuary in Montecito. Wonder what the birds think of them.

Sunset Ocean

Yesterday was Sunday and many families went to the beach to enjoy the good weather. At sunset I happened along this boy standing motionless in the calm surf. He stayed there for quite a while hardly moving at all. It was lovely to watch.
