Her Fruit Bowl

I have a good friend who is an avid reader, gourmet cook, spectacular gardener, poet, world traveler and painter. When one goes to her house for dinner, the visual and intellectual experience is akin to stepping inside the house of English nobility.

Even fruit in a simple bowl looks as if it dropped from a James Peale still life.
